Terms of service
Updated:
These terms apply to every order placed through neoprint.site. Reading them takes a few minutes and covers what you are buying, what it costs, when it arrives and what happens if something is wrong.
Who you are dealing with
NeoPrint is a 3D printing workshop in Rīga, at Eksporta iela 12, LV-1045, Latvia. Contact: [email protected], +371 25 584 144.
How an order is made
- Upload a model and the site prices it by actually slicing it with the same profile the workshop prints with. The figure is not an estimate from a formula.
- If you have no model, describe the job or send a photo and we price it by hand, usually replying within an hour during working hours.
- The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed. Until then nothing is reserved and nothing is charged.
Prices
- All prices are in euro.
- The price you see before paying is the price of the item. Delivery is added separately and shown before payment.
- A quote holds while the price and the file behind it are unchanged. Uploading a modified model produces a new price.
Production and delivery
- Production time starts from payment confirmation, not from when the order was placed.
- Pickup in Rīga: we give you the address and time as soon as the order is ready.
- Unisend parcel locker: any locker in Latvia. The locker notifies you itself.
- Post across the EU: to the address you give, 2–14 working days depending on the country.
- Delivery times come from the carrier and are an estimate, not a guarantee.
Made to your order: the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply
Everything we print is made to your specification — from your file, in the material, colour and quality you chose. Under EU consumer law that makes it a custom-made good, and the 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to it.
This does not touch your rights if something arrives faulty or is not what you ordered — those are in the next section.
If something is wrong
- Tell us as soon as you notice, with a photo. [email protected], Telegram and WhatsApp all reach the same people.
- If we printed the wrong thing, printed it badly, or it arrived damaged, we reprint it or refund it. Your statutory rights as a consumer apply in full.
- FDM printing has visible layer lines, support marks where an overhang needed support, and a tolerance of a few tenths of a millimetre. Those are properties of the process, present on every part, and not defects.
- A part printed correctly from a model that turned out to be wrong is not a defect either — but tell us anyway, we would rather help.
Your file, your right to print it
- By ordering you confirm you are allowed to have the thing made: it is your own design, licensed to you, or otherwise free to reproduce.
- We do not check ownership and cannot. If a rights holder objects, that is between you and them.
- We refuse orders we consider unlawful or dangerous — functional weapon parts, items designed to defeat safety or security systems, and anything the law prohibits. We refuse without explaining ourselves further and refund what was paid.
Cancelling
Before printing starts, write to us and we cancel and refund in full. Once the printer has begun, the material and machine time are spent and a cancellation becomes a case-by-case conversation.
Liability
We are responsible for the order we produce and deliver. We are not responsible for what a printed part is then used for, or for consequences arising from a model's design, which is yours. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Complaints and disputes
Write to [email protected] first — most things end there. If not, a consumer in Latvia may turn to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs, ptac.gov.lv).
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia.
