Custom Name Keychains for a Birthday Party — PLA

The Task

A mom ordered 12 personalized name keychains as party favors for her kid’s birthday. Each keychain had a child’s name and a little star. She needed them ready within 2 days.

Our Solution

We designed a 3D model with parametric text — change the name, get a new keychain. Printed in PLA Silk in several colors: gold, silver, and pink.

Print Settings

• Material: PLA Silk (3 colors)
• Layer height: 0.16 mm
• Infill: 20%
• Print time: ~15 min each (3 hours for the whole batch)
• Size: 50×20 mm each

Result

The kids loved it — each one got a unique keychain with their own name. The mom immediately ordered another batch for her child’s classmates.
