Custom FDM 3D Printing

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) is the classic and most universal 3D printing technology. Plastic filament is melted and deposited in layers following the target shape. This gives us strong, functional parts of any size — from tiny 1×1 cm bits to large objects up to 25×25×40 cm in a single piece.

The workshop runs several printers in parallel. That means large orders get done fast, and small ones — sometimes same day. Layer height is picked per task: 0.12 mm for smooth surfaces and decor, 0.2 mm — universal balance of speed and quality, 0.28 mm — for drafts and large parts where speed matters.

Materials for any task: PLA for decor and figurines, PETG for functional durable parts, FLEX/TPU when elasticity matters, CF for mechanics — gears, bushings, wear-resistant parts. We will recommend what fits if you are unsure.

Size is the real limit, and it is fairer to say so up front. The largest part in one piece is 220 × 220 × 265 mm. That is the bed of the smaller of our printers, and the promise is measured against it rather than the bigger one: which machine is free on the day is not your problem. Anything larger we split and bond along the seam. One part may be up to 2000 cm³, and a single order up to 100 pieces.

The price comes from a real slicer, not a formula. Your file goes through the same profile the workshop prints with and comes back with a weight in grams and a print time in minutes — that is what the sum is built from. So the price moves with orientation and infill, and supports for overhangs are already in it: we print exactly what you sent. Three pieces or more take 5% off, ten or more 12%, twenty-five or more 20%.

There is a lower bound too, which gets mentioned less often. A part smaller than 0.02 cm³ is pointless to print: the nozzle has a width, and a model that small usually means the file was exported in metres instead of millimetres — the calculator notices and says so. Complexity is not unlimited either: models heavier than one and a half million triangles we ask you to simplify, otherwise the slicer thinks for longer than the printer prints.

After printing, the part passes through our hands: we remove supports, clean off the skirt and look at the first layer. Sanding, painting and bonding are separate work done by arrangement; tell us in advance if the part is going under paint and we will orient it on the plate so the support marks land on the side nobody sees.
