3D Scanning: Accurate Digital Copy of an Object

3D Scanning

We turn a physical object into an accurate 3D model. For reverse engineering, duplication, dimensional inspection or print preparation. We use a structured-light scanner — resolution down to 0.1 mm.

  • Resolution down to 0.1 mm — fine details and textures
  • Size: from a matchbox to a suitcase
  • Reverse engineering of parts without drawings
  • Duplication of souvenirs and samples
  • Fitment of enclosures to existing surfaces
  • Ready model: STL, OBJ, PLY
  • For large objects — photogrammetry
  • Scanning + modeling + printing bundled

3D scanning solves problems you can't do by hand: complex organic shapes, curved surfaces, rounded details, old samples without drawings. The scanner captures geometry in minutes and outputs a point cloud, from which we build a clean 3D model.

Typical uses: reverse engineering — an old part with no drawings, need an accurate replacement or a base for modification. Duplication — you want to replicate a souvenir, memento, artifact. Dimensional inspection — manufacturing, where finished parts must match the drawing. Fitment — an enclosure that must sit precisely on an existing surface.

Process: you bring the object to the workshop (or we come to you for larger items), we scan, process the data, hand you the STL/OBJ. Scannable size ranges from a matchbox to a suitcase. For very large objects (furniture, mechanisms) we use photogrammetry.

Scanning often pairs with modeling and printing. For example, a broken plastic part: we scan the original, fix the model (remove the crack, reinforce the weak spot), print it. Result — a part better than the original.

Describe the object and the task — we will suggest an approach and price
